At The Hairdresser's

I was at the hairdresser's having a cut and blow dry. 

The stylist pulled, tugged and flattened the fine strands of my middle-aged hair.
 Looking glassy-eyed in the mirror at the middle parting and the domed bob, I was reminded of a certain person from recent history.

Ye Gods! ? It's Hilary Mantel!
